Event photography is capturing a defining moment in a race, a small victory in a long competition, emotion of finishing the race...or just having a good time with a group of friends!  My job as your photographer is to take these small slices of life and preserve them for you to remember and to share with others.  Events can range anywhere from a soccer game to a business golf outing, a school dance or family reunion, to your most special day -wedding day.  I travel from time to time and attend events to shoot for fun, or I am available for hire.  Please contact me for more information.

Why choose Jackson Touch Photography?

I am a perfectionist by nature. All photo's I take are with a high-res Canon digital SLR camera.  This allows me to take great photos, and to see instantly if the shot I took is what I wanted to capture.  If not, it often gives me a second chance to retake the shot.  This saves time and money on film and film processing... my time and money saved means less I have to charge for my photography work.  I often shoot in the RAW format which gives great flexibility for after effects and editing.  For these reasons, digital allows me to take more photos and better quality than what is normally attained with film.  I have taken as many as 2000 photos in one weekend!  Try that with film!
All photos of events will be available online within 24-48 hours of the end of the event. You will be offered a variety of sizes to choose from for each image.  All images will be available for 60 days after the event. Anything after that, you will need to contact me. If you have a request for a specific shot during an event, please let me know ahead of time and I will accommodate your request.
It may be that you didn't choose Jackson Touch Photography, but I chose you to be in my photography.  This is called public domain photography and in most cases is documentary in nature and for my own personal use as a visitor to the event or location where the photos were taken.  In these cases, the opportunity for a great shot was there and I took it.  Whether intentional or not, you or someone you know happened to be in the photo so I provided you with a secure event and password so that you too could enjoy the photos I have taken.  If any photo is an exceptional photo that I would like to use as a sample of my work, I will definitely attain your consent prior to any professional use.  Events are almost always private on my website so that only the appropriate people have access to the photos.  However, if you happen to find anything on my website to be offensive, derogatory, or just in bad taste, please let me know and I will promptly remove it.
